PRE-GAME

We are looking for a competent Food Expeditor (Expo) to help keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the tables. You will work in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out faster and more efficiently and meeting all standards. As food expeditor, you must have excellent communication skills and experience in a restaurant's hectic setting. You must have enough stamina to be in constant motion and skills to coordinate and organize processes and people. The goal is to make service faster and better to help enhance our quality and reputation.

GAME DAY

Correctly sets up, maintains, and closes the Expo window. Monitors equipment in Expo area. Compares tickets to products to ensure special requests have been filled. Bags all takeout orders, including proper bagging techniques and packaging. Monitors ticket times, product holding times, and makes corrections to ensure food quality. Trays orders according to pivot point ordering. Facilitates and expedites the flow of food from the kitchen to the guests. Follows all sanitation guidelines. Becomes familiar with new menu items/dishes. Performs other duties as requested.

RULES OF PLAY

You know the business. You have one plus years of recent restaurant experience. You are a team player. You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and jump in to help your team. You show passion & commitment. You strive in a fast-paced environment and are in it to win the game. If it were possible, you'd bleed black and yellow. You have strong time management and organization skills with an excellent attention to detail. You understand or will learn Point of Sales systems fully. Your customer service, communication, interpersonal and hospitality skills are extraordinary. You have knowledge of proper sanitation, food safety and security procedures. You will become completely familiar with our menu. You thrive in fast paced and high intensity environment for extended periods of time. You are reliable and dependable to cover your shift as scheduled. You maintain positive working relationships with all team members and managers. You can stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours. You have sense of balance, can bend, kneel and to lift trays frequently weighing 10-15 pounds. You must be legally able to work in the US; verified by E-Verify.
