The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered promptly and accurately, acting as the liaison between the kitchen staff and the front-of-house team. This position requires strong communication skills, an understanding of culinary operations, and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. Responsibilities Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery to guests. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to prioritize orders and manage cooking times. Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and communicate needs to management. Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully before they leave the kitchen. Collaborate with cooks and servers to enhance overall dining experience for guests. Qualifications Previous experience in a culinary or hospitality role is preferred, particularly in restaurant or banquet settings. Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
