You must be very dependable. You must be able to get to work without being late or calling in. This position is only for a dependable person who knows how to get to work. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Teacher / Cafeteria staff member to join our vibrant team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the well-being of young children while ensuring a positive dining experience. The role involves guiding children through educational activities and preparing and serving nutritious meals in a safe, hygienic manner. Duties Assist with classroom activities, fostering a safe and engaging environment for children up to age five Prepare, serve, and clean up meals and snacks, adhering to food safety standards Manage the cafeteria area, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed Support dietary needs and restrictions, providing appropriate meal options for children with special diets Maintain a clean and organized dining space, promoting a welcoming atmosphere Engage with children during meal times to encourage good manners and social skills Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and child supervision Qualifications Prior experience in food service, catering, or the food industry is preferred, especially with fine dining or banquet experience Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with children and staff Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and dietary accommodations Experience in serving or food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous Barista or café experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with food industry standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene Join us to make a meaningful impact on young lives while honing your skills in a dynamic childcare setting!
