In this role, you will be an essential part of the kitchen operation, supporting food preparation, safety, and service to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant or hotel operations. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces Support cooking activities by following established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality food output Handle food safely by adhering to proper handling techniques and storage practices to meet health regulations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and transactions Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquet events and regular service hours Contribute to guest satisfaction through attentive customer service and efficient support in food delivery and setup Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards is advantageous Experience working with POS systems like Aloha or Micros enhances your ability to support smooth operations Banquet or hotel kitchen experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in various culinary settings Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role Prior kitchen experience combined with a passion for hospitality will help you thrive in our energetic environment Join us today to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through excellent food service!
