Job Description
Expeditor Sunny's All Day Brunch & Bar is hiring highly organized, fast-thinking, and team-oriented Expeditors to join our team. Sunny's is a fast-paced brunch and bar concept built around upbeat hospitality, great food, specialty drinks, and a high-energy guest experience. We are looking for people who are hardworking, reliable, and excited to help build a strong restaurant team from the ground up. Expeditors are the key connection between the kitchen and the service team. This role is responsible for making sure food leaves the kitchen correctly, quickly, and according to Sunny's standards. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and an extremely organized mindset. Responsibilities Act as the middleman between the kitchen and servers Make sure all food goes out accurately and to the correct table Check plates for accuracy, presentation, modifications, and missing items Communicate clearly with kitchen staff, servers, managers, and support staff Track ticket times and help ensure food is moving efficiently Keep the expo line clean, organized, and controlled during service Maintain strong knowledge of the menu, ingredients, modifiers, and restaurant standards Help prevent mistakes before food reaches the guest Stay calm, focused, and organized during high-volume brunch service Support the team by keeping communication clear and service moving smoothly Qualifications Extremely strong organization skills required Excellent communication skills required Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail Must be willing to learn the menu inside and out Ability to multitask and make quick decisions Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused Restaurant experience preferred, but not required for the right person Must be comfortable working closely with both kitchen and front-of-house teams Schedule Sunny's brunch hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM . After-hours shifts are 7:00 PM-12:00 AM . Availability may include mornings, weekends, evenings, and late nights depending on restaurant needs. Pay Expeditors are paid $13 per hour plus tip out .
