As a Kitchen Helper, you will in preparing meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that all food handling procedures meet industry regulations. This paid position is perfect for individuals passionate about the food industry who want to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients to support meal production. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety. Support cooking activities by organizing ingredients and ensuring timely delivery of prepared items to the serving area. Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures in accordance with food safety regulations. Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure presentation meets quality standards for various dining services. Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with setup and cleanup before and after service. Serve food efficiently while maintaining friendly customer interactions during meal service. Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable. Familiarity with menu planning, food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices. Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards essential for maintaining a safe kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while adhering to health regulations. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and serving customers. Prior experience with catering or food service operations is a plus but not required.
