Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team at Nacho Bravo. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and assisting with menu execution. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, experience in food preparation, and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a reputable dining establishment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to menu specifications and recipes Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times Support the cooking team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed Ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to, minimizing waste and contamination Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Experience with menu planning and food presentation techniques is desirable Fine dining experience or culinary training is advantageous Skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly are essential Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices Experience in catering or large-scale food production is beneficial Strong understanding of the food industry and kitchen operations This role requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Candidates should demonstrate excellent food handling skills, culinary knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
