- $22 an hour 15 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Food service cleaning Attention to detail Organizational skills Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated individuals to join our team at a brand new artisan, wood fired pizzeria as prep cooks, pizza cooks/pizzaiolo, dishwashers and front of house team members.
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the manager
- Operate kitchen equipment such as pizza oven, food processor, meat slicer, dishwashers
- Follow recipes
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
- Support the culinary team in various tasks as needed Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Utah food handler's permit/training
- Familiarity with basic culinary techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in using kitchen tools including knives and other utensils
