Kitchen Cleaner - Miss Essie's BBQ Position Overview Miss Essie's BBQ is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Kitchen Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in supporting daily operations and ensuring we meet all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including prep stations, cooking equipment, counters, and floors Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and food containers throughout and after service Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners as needed Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, walk-in coolers, and dry storage spaces Follow proper sanitation and food safety procedures at all times Assist with deep cleaning tasks on scheduled days (hood vents, ovens, walls, etc.) Restock cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organization tasks during service Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed before shift end Requirements Prior kitchen or cleaning experience preferred, but not required Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for extended periods Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Supportive team environment Opportunity to grow within the company Consistent hours depending on business needs At Miss Essie's BBQ, we take pride in our food and our kitchen standards.
