FOH ASSISTANT MANAGER/SHIFT SUPERVISOR

We are looking for strong, dynamic, conscientious assistant managers/shift managers for the evening shifts at our new location in Daybreak in South Jordan. As an assistant, you are an important part of every meal we serve and each guest's experience in our restaurants. The primary objective of the Assistant is to ensure superior customer service and satisfaction. The Assistant will create and maintain a clean, safe, positive, and supportive work environment for all staff and ensure that company standards are being followed. The assistant to the Restaurant Managers must demonstrate knowledge of all FOH positions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure service standards and sanitation guidelines are being upheld daily Monitor dining room, door, bar, waiting areas, cashier area, & server stations Assist all Front of House employees, including cashiers, hostesses/hosts, servers, bussers, and bartenders. Support and assist staff in all duties during hours of operation. Work closely with all Restaurant Managers to ensure superior customer experience and consistent leadership practices that result in creating and maintaining a professional and positive work environment for all restaurant employees.
OTHER DUTIES
Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and guests Communicate company policies and procedures when assigned by FOM. Address and resolve customer issues quickly and appropriately and handle any escalated occurrences from staff. Assist with running food from the window to tables to ensure that hot food arrives hot. Assist with the delivery of beverages from the bar area. Ensure that all FOH employee side work is being done & maintained. Inspect restroom cleanliness throughout the shift. Note issues and successes to the Restaurant Manager on duty. Ensure that the sequence of service is being provided by dining room servers. Assist servers with processing credit cards to ensure they are done accurately and returned to the guest for signature in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years' experience in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills Math and analytical skills Knowledge of Utah liquor laws Fluency in English required Spanish language skills a plus Must be over 21 years of age
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Knowledge of processes and procedures Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in an extremely busy and dynamic environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently Ability to walk and stand continuously during entire shift Ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry stoop, push, pull and wipe Continuous repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers Frequent washing of hands
