Job Purpose The Kitchen Team Member at Good Earth Markets supports the daily production of fresh, high-quality juices, tonics, and nutritious grab and go items that align with Good Earth Markets' commitment to health and wellness. This helps to ensure products are prepared efficiently, safely, and consistently while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare fresh juices, tonics, and smoothies according to established recipes and quality standards Assist in the production of house-made items such as protein balls, nut and seed bars, and other healthy treats Measure, mix, and portion ingredients accurately to ensure consistency and minimize waste Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen in compliance with food safety standards Follow proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures Support inventory needs by notifying leadership of low stock or ingredient shortages Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workstations throughout the shift Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals Demonstrate reliability and efficiency during assigned shift Stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring repetitive motions, lifting (up to 50lbs), and bending Assist in various duties throughout the kitchen as assigned or needed We are an E-Verify employer. Preferred Experience/Skills and Abilities Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, food prep, or juice/smoothie bar environment preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (food handlers permit a plus) Ability to follow recipes and instructions with accuracy and consistency Comfortable working with fresh ingredients, including fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds Strong attention to detail when measuring, mixing, and portioning products Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production focused environment Capability to stand for long periods and perform tasks requiring repetitive motions, lifting, and bending Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds (ingredients, supplies, etc) Ability to be positive, energetic, self-motivated, reliable, and punctual Sincere desire to help and contribute to the overall success of the team Compensation, Rewards & Cultural Highlights Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (full-time) Matching HSA program (full-time) Paid Time Off Program Employee discount program Competitive wages with opportunities for advancement.
