Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Treatz Prep Worker to join our Blazin team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating exceptional coffee beverages and visually appealing desserts while providing outstanding customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine culinary artistry with retail experience in a lively, fast-paced environment dedicated to quality and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, specialty beverages, and desserts with precision and creativity. Operate POS systems like Toast for efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Manage customer orders with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours. Engage with customers to provide friendly, knowledgeable service, enhancing their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all food preparation and serving areas. Handle food items responsibly, adhering to proper food handling procedures. Assist in retail sales by promoting menu items and dessert offerings to increase sales. Ensure accurate cash handling and register operations, including basic math for transactions. Support team members during peak hours by multitasking between serving, food prep, and cashier duties. Requirements Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation, and food handling procedures. Experience in serving or food service environments is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced café setting while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for creating visually appealing desserts as part of the dessert artistry component of the role.
