Cafe Retailer/ Clerk

Duties Prepare and serve a variety of food items and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and swiftly Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties, with attention to detail and accuracy Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning work areas, food prep stations, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and organize retail shelves to ensure product availability and visual appeal Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations Requirements Previous experience in food service or retail environments such as quick service restaurants or grocery stores is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and quick calculations Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels our vibrant café atmosphere!
