Kitchen Team Member (Grill Focus)

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grill Cook to join our new Nate's Bagel location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Grill Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing delicious sandwiches that meet our customers' expectations while adhering to health regulations and kitchen protocols. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items, ensuring proper cooking techniques and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area, including equipment and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all food served. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Participate in catering events as required, contributing to menu planning and execution. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety practices. Experience Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in roles related to food handling and preparation. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Experience in catering or working within a dietary department is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
