Kitchen Team Members (All BOH Positions) | The Midway | Gig Harbor, WA The Midway is an exciting new deli, bakery, and market opening in the heart of downtown Gig Harbor. Built on quality, community, and thoughtful hospitality, The Midway is seeking passionate, hardworking kitchen professionals to join our opening team. We are hiring for all back-of-house positions, including: Line Cooks Prep Cooks Bakers Dishwashers Kitchen Leads /

Supervisors Compensation:

$18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience, role, and qualifications. This is a tipped position.

Position Responsibilities:

Food preparation and execution to Midway quality standards Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards Following recipes, prep lists, and kitchen systems Supporting daily kitchen operations Receiving and organizing inventory Collaborating with team members in a fast-paced environment Contributing to a positive, professional culture

Qualifications:

Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred (varies by role) Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Food handler permit (or ability to obtain) Commitment to cleanliness, organization, and teamwork Passion for great food and hospitality

Scheduling:

Full-time and part-time opportunities available Must be available for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Opening Timeline:

Construction begins soon, with projected opening in early summer 2026. Hiring and training will ramp up in May.
