Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff member, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help deliver exceptional dining experiences. In this energetic role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist with various kitchen operations. Your positive attitude and teamwork will contribute to a lively, efficient environment that delights guests and maintains high-quality service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working in a fast-paced hospitality setting. Duties Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure timely dish production Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen managers to ensure quality and consistency Handle food handling responsibilities safely, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when needed during service periods Buss tables and clear dishes efficiently to support smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction Contribute to banquet setups and service by preparing ingredients or assisting with large-scale food production when required Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a busy environment Familiarity with cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen equipment is a plus Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros can be advantageous but training will be provided Prior banquet experience or hotel culinary background is beneficial but not required; a passion for hospitality is key Join us in creating memorable guest experiences through energetic teamwork and culinary excellence!
