Kitchen Helper

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations, ensuring that our food preparation processes run smoothly and efficiently. Duties Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas. Support cooks and chefs by preparing ingredients for various dishes and assisting with cooking tasks. Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the quality of meals served. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels. Participate in catering events as needed, assisting with setup and breakdown of food stations. Skills Experience or interest in meal preparation within a culinary or food service environment. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations. Basic knife skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques are preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
