In this role, you'll contribute to meal preparation, food service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help ensure our guests receive exceptional dining experiences every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working alongside passionate food industry professionals. Duties Assist in food preparation and cooking to support the creation of a variety of menu items Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and ensuring timely meal assembly Serve meals efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishwashing and equipment upkeep Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety at all times Contribute to catering events by preparing and serving food in accordance with event requirements Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department, dietary aide role, or restaurant environment is preferred Strong knife skills and experience with meal preparation and food industry standards Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting with attention to detail Experience with menu planning, cooking, and food service operations is highly desirable Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Prior kitchen or culinary experience that demonstrates familiarity with food preparation and catering is a plus
