Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Kitchen Assistant/Prep to join our dynamic culinary team! Responsibilities Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients according to established recipes and standards Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely delivery of dishes during service hours Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing utensils, equipment, and surfaces in compliance with food safety standards Handle food items safely, following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination Aid in menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming meals. Serve food to customers or staff as directed, ensuring proper portioning and presentation Experience Experience working in food service environments such as restaurants, catering, or the food industry is highly valued Knowledge of food handling safety practices and basic culinary skills such as knife techniques and meal preparation is advantageous Familiarity with menu planning, cooking methods, and food presentation enhances your ability to excel in this role Strong understanding of kitchen safety protocols and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining a safe work environment Prior experience with food industry equipment and tools will support efficient workflow and productivity Join us as a Kitchen Assistant/Prep and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating delicious meals while fostering a positive dining experience!
