Certified Lifeguard - Must Already Have Certification

Under the direction of the Community Parks and Recreation Director, the Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of customers in and around pool areas. The lifeguard may also provide customer service support and assist with various maintenance and cleaning tasks. The City has openings for permanent benefited part-time (less than 30 hours per week), less than part time (less than 15 hours per week) and seasonal (summer) positions. Qualifications Must be at least 15 years old at the time of hire. Must be able to read and understand written instructions in English. Special Requirements Swim test is required. Candidates must be able to obtain American Red Cross Certification in Lifeguard/First Air/CPR/AED.
