You'll be responsible for keeping guests safe in and around the water while delivering a positive, welcoming experience. This is a paid, ongoing position with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities Monitor pool and aquatic areas at all times, enforcing safety rules and preventing unsafe behavior Respond quickly to emergencies and administer first aid and CPR as needed Inspect and maintain all rescue equipment before and after each shift Assist guests with pool access and answer questions about facilities and policies Perform routine pool upkeep including deck cleaning, debris removal, and water quality checks Maintain accurate shift logs documenting incidents, inspections, and maintenance Requirements Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or equivalent) Valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification Strong swimming ability and confidence performing water rescues Friendly, professional demeanor with strong guest service skills Ability to stand for extended periods and respond physically in emergencies Knowledge of basic pool maintenance and chemical balancing a plus Why Join Us Competitive pay ($26-$33/hr depending on experience) Flexible scheduling Certification reimbursement available for the right candidate Fun, team-oriented environment
