We serve youth ages 5-17 through diverse educational and recreational programs designed to promote positive development and healthy lifestyles. Overview We are seeking energetic and responsible Lifeguard/Swim Instructors to ensure the safety of our members during aquatic activities. In this role, you will oversee pool safety, deliver swim instruction, and assist with pool maintenance to create a fun, secure, and welcoming environment for all participants. Your enthusiasm will help inspire confidence in young swimmers while maintaining high safety standards. Duties Monitor pool areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents or emergencies Provide swim instruction to participants of various skill levels, promoting water confidence and swimming techniques Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies using CPR and first aid skills when necessary Conduct regular pool maintenance including cleaning, skimming, and chemical testing to ensure optimal water quality Assist with pool setup, including setting up equipment for swim lessons or recreational activities Perform routine pool cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining pool filters Offer excellent guest services by engaging positively with members and addressing their needs or concerns Experience Prior lifeguard experience or certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross) is preferred Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescue procedures confidently Knowledge of pool maintenance practices including chemical testing and cleaning procedures Experience in guest services or working with children and teens is a plus Ability to lift heavy equipment or supplies as needed for pool maintenance tasks Certifications in CPR and first aid are required; ongoing training will be provided if necessary Join us in making a difference by ensuring safe, enjoyable aquatic experiences for our youth!
