Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant aquatic team as a Pool Monitor, where your energetic presence ensures a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all pool visitors. In this role, you will oversee pool safety protocols, assist guests with their needs, and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the pool area. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for everyone who dips into our sparkling waters. Responsibilities Monitor pool activity to ensure safety and enforce facility rules effectively Respond promptly to emergencies by fast actions and calling 9-1-1. Conduct routine pool maintenance, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and ensuring water quality standards are met Assist guests with pool access, provide information about pool hours and safety guidelines Perform regular inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas to identify maintenance needs Maintain accurate logs of incidents, safety checks, and maintenance activities Support overall pool area cleanliness by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring proper storage of equipment Requirements Prior experience in lifeguarding or pool supervision is highly preferred Certification in CPR and First Aid from a recognized organization is required; Lifeguard certification is a plus Knowledge of pool maintenance techniques and safety procedures Ability to swim confidently and comfortably in deep water Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards Join us as a Pool Monitor and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing a safe, fun-filled aquatic environment!
