  • Ontario The Security Pool Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests and staff in and around the pool area.
This role involves monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, responding to emergencies, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Surveillance and Monitoring:
Monitor the pool area to ensure safety and security of guests and staff. Observe pool activities to prevent accidents and identify potential hazards. Use surveillance equipment to maintain a constant watch over the pool area.
Safety Enforcement:
Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment. Address any safety concerns and resolve issues promptly. Ensure that all safety equipment is available and in good working condition.
Emergency Response:
Respond swiftly to any emergency situations, including water rescues and first aid. Coordinate with lifeguards and other emergency personnel as needed. Administer basic first aid and CPR if required.
Customer Service:
Greet and assist pool guests in a friendly and professional manner. Provide information and answer questions regarding pool rules and activities. Handle guest complaints and concerns effectively.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities and incidents. Report any security breaches, suspicious activities, or accidents to the Head of Security. Complete incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
Skills:
Strong observational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies. Basic knowledge of pool maintenance and safety standards.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to swim and perform water rescues if necessary. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (e.g., pool safety equipment).
Work Environment:
The position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions. Shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
Additional Notes:
Candidates must pass a background check. Uniforms will be provided and must be worn while on duty.
