This position actively supervises swimmers, enforces pool safety rules, and responds quickly and effectively to any emergencies. The lifeguard helps create a positive experience in the pool area while ensuring all participants follow established safety guidelines. Qualifications Current Lifeguard Certification required At least one year of lifeguarding experience Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred Strong swimming ability and water safety knowledge Experience working with children and youth Ability to remain calm, attentive, and responsive in a fast-paced aquatic environment
