In this energetic role, you will oversee pool safety, assist guests, and ensure a clean, welcoming environment for all visitors. Your proactive approach and quick response skills will help create a fun and secure atmosphere where everyone can swim with confidence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in safety, guest service, and pool maintenance while making a positive impact on our community. Duties Monitor pool areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents or injuries Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR when necessary Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical checks, and water quality testing to ensure optimal conditions Assist guests with pool access, provide information about facilities, and deliver exceptional guest services Perform routine pool cleaning duties such as skimming debris, scrubbing tiles, and maintaining pool equipment Support overall pool area upkeep by managing supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and facility policies at all times Qualifications Proven lifeguard experience and relevant certification from a recognized organization (e.g., Red Cross or YMCA) Valid CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certification Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues as needed Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning techniques Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and active movement throughout shifts Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as required Embark on a rewarding journey by ensuring safety while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
