In this energetic role, you will ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests by actively monitoring pool activities, performing lifesaving duties, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and functionality of the pool area. Your enthusiasm and vigilance will help create memorable experiences while upholding the highest safety standards. Duties Vigilantly monitor pool areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using certified lifesaving techniques. Enforce facility rules to promote safe swimming practices and ensure guest compliance. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and inspecting water quality to maintain optimal conditions. Conduct regular pool cleaning including vacuuming, scrubbing tiles, and checking chemical levels to ensure a hygienic environment. Provide exceptional guest services by assisting swimmers, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Administer first aid and CPR in emergency situations with confidence and professionalism. Assist with general pool area upkeep, including heavy lifting of equipment or supplies as needed. Experience Prior experience as a lifeguard or in a similar aquatic safety role is preferred. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required; ongoing training will be provided if necessary. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures, including chemical handling and cleaning techniques. Ability to swim confidently and perform rescue operations effectively in high-pressure situations. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy equipment, and perform water rescues when necessary.
