Lifeguard at The Boca Raton

Summary The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a lifeguard in a beach or pool operation. This individual must be able to achieve or currently hold a CPR certification. This role requires a strong degree of physical activity in an outdoor setting. Candidates must be self-motivated and have the ability to maintain focus and composure under pressure. Essential Functions Job duties include, although are not limited to:

• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Performs various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Prepares and maintains appropriate activity reports.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Supervise the use of other equipment when allocated to that duty (such as water slides).

Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures. Education/Experience Requirements High school diploma required Six months experience required
