Summer Camp Lifeguard/Swim Instructor (Seasonal) - Hiring Immediately

Additional Information Job Overview Join our team as a Summer Camp Lifeguard Swim Instructor and help create a safe and engaging aquatic environment during a 7-week camp program. This is an outdoor, active position working with youth in a structured camp setting. In this role, you will oversee pool safety, assist campers and staff, support daily swim activities, maintain a clean and organized environment, and contribute to a fun, active, and team-oriented camp experience. Season June 22•August 6 (No camp July 3 & 23)

Schedule Monday-Thursday:

8:30 AM•3:15

PM Friday:

9:15 AM•12:15 PM Must be available for the majority of the camp season Responsibilities Monitor pool areas and enforce all safety rules Respond quickly to emergencies, including water rescues and CPR/First Aid Complete daily safety checks and ensure equipment is in working order Maintain a clean and safe pool environment Support swim activities and assist staff as needed Remain alert, visible, and engaged at all times Requirements Current Lifeguard Certification with CPR/AED and First Aid, and Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification preferred Candidates without one or both certifications must be willing and able to obtain prior to the start date (training available through Elite Amenities) Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues Reliable, responsible, and safety-focused Strong communication and teamwork skills Prior lifeguard or camp experience is a plus Additional Information Background check required Candidates 18+ preferred; role requires a high level of responsibility and maturity About Elite Amenities Elite Amenities provides professional amenity staffing and services for communities across Northeast Florida, including lifeguards, amenity attendants, and aquatics programming.
