Job Description
Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Pool Monitor and play a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable aquatic environment for all guests. In this energetic position, you will oversee pool safety, assist with pool maintenance and cleaning, and provide exceptional guest services. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for everyone who visits the pool area. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine safety responsibilities with customer engagement in a lively setting. Duties Monitor pool activity continuously to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid or CPR as needed Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks such as testing water quality and cleaning filters Assist guests with questions, directions, and provide excellent customer service Perform routine pool cleaning including skimming debris, vacuuming, and maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas Maintain accurate records of safety checks, incidents, and maintenance activities Heavy lifting of equipment or supplies may be required during routine maintenance or setup Requirements Proven experience in lifeguarding or pool monitoring roles is preferred Valid certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; Lifeguard certification is highly desirable Ability to swim confidently and comfortably in various water conditions Knowledge of basic pool maintenance and cleaning procedures is a plus Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively when needed Must be alert, responsible, and able to maintain focus during long periods of monitoring Join us in creating a safe, fun-filled environment where guests can relax and enjoy their time by the pool!
