Job Description
Under general supervision, performs supervisory and instructional work at Town's public swimming pools. Is responsible for safety of pool patrons and swimming lessons. Reports to Facility Manager, Head Pool Lifeguard or designee.
REQUIRED
Graduation from an accredited High School or GED; Possession of current license/certification from the American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification. Copies of current certifications MUST be provided with your application by close of posting. Must be able to possess American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification and (AFO) Aquatic Facility Operator within six (6) months of employment.Vision Requirement:
Must see 20/30 either uncorrected or with soft contacts. Applicants cannot wear glasses for vision correction. All fields must be completed. Putting "see resume" on the application will not suffice. The selection process will include successfully meeting the minimum requirements of each of the following: an oral assessment, background investigation and a medical examination which includes a drug screening test and physical examination.
