Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to respond effectively in emergencies. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent guest services while monitoring pool activities and performing maintenance tasks as needed. Responsibilities Supervise pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment. Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR when necessary. Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, including water quality checks. Maintain cleanliness of the pool and surrounding areas through routine cleaning tasks. Assist with pool maintenance tasks, including chemical balancing and equipment checks. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with lifeguarding techniques and emergency response procedures. Requirements Current Lifeguard certification is required; CPR and First Aid certifications are highly desirable. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues effectively. Ability to lift heavy objects as needed for maintenance tasks. Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary. A commitment to safety and vigilance in monitoring pool activities.
