Our team is growing and we are looking for a deck supervisors at all 3 of our SWFL locations. Why work at SafeSplash Swim School? Grow your career in the industry What will you do as a Deck Supervisor? Assist swimmers in and around the pool area as well as swim instructors, as needed. Talk to customers about classes, curriculum, skill tracking, and converting new trial swimmers. Help with deck management and pace of class. Provide training support for new staff onboarding and build a team at the location that follows SafeSplash culture. Must be on deck when lessons are running (weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends). Maintain SafeSplash Instructor training to know how to teach. Use our technology systems and apps to maintain class records, student skill tracking, and follow up with customers and management. Serve as substitute instructor if a scheduled instructor is absent. The deck supervisor is a wet and dry position. Capture social media pictures and videos as needed of swimmers, staff, and the facility. Communicate location needs and customer interactions with management. Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports. Serve as the lifeguard on duty. Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, enforcing safety regulations as outlined in American Red Cross Lifeguard standards What are we looking for in a Deck Supervisor? Must be personable, professional, and consistent for our SafeSplash Swim Family. Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer Previous swim instruction experience is recommended (we will train) This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
