CPR Full Job Description Pay:
$18.50 per hour Job description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lifeguard II to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to provide exceptional guest services. As a Lifeguard II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all pool patrons while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Responsibilities Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all Club members and staff. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment. Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed. Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, including water quality testing and equipment checks. Perform pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical reading. Assist in training and supervising junior lifeguards and staff members. Provide excellent guest services to parents by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally. Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions to stay current on emergency procedures. Qualifications Current American Red Cross in Lifeguard certification. Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification. CPR and First Aid certification required; additional certifications are a plus. Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues effectively. Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed for maintenance tasks. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Previous experience as a lifeguard or in a related role is highly desirable. Must be able to work flexible hours.
