• Contract Job Overview We are seeking a certified Lifeguard to provide professional aquatic safety services for a private pool party on Sunday June 14th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM .

In this role, you will serve as the primary safety professional responsible for monitoring all pool activities, enforcing water safety guidelines, and responding immediately to any emergencies or unsafe situations. The ideal candidate is attentive, proactive, and experienced in supervising children and families in a recreational aquatic environment. Your presence will help ensure a safe, enjoyable, and worry-free experience for all guests while maintaining the highest standards of pool safety and emergency preparedness. This is a paid event position requiring current lifeguard certification and a commitment to creating a secure environment throughout the duration of the event. Responsibilities Monitor pool activity continuously to identify and respond to potential hazards or unsafe behaviors Enforce facility rules and regulations to promote safe swimming practices for all guests Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area, including equipment and surrounding facilities Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed Maintain clear communication with team members and management regarding safety concerns or incidents Complete detailed incident reports and safety logs accurately and promptly Educate guests on pool rules and safety procedures to foster a culture of responsibility and awareness Requirements Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization (such as the Red Cross or equivalent) Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certification Ability to stay alert, attentive, and proactive during long periods of monitoring Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members Physical stamina to stand, walk, swim, and perform rescue techniques in various conditions Prior experience in lifeguarding or aquatic safety is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary A positive attitude, keen eye for detail, and commitment to guest safety are essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your vigilance ensures fun-filled days are also safe days!
