Job Title:
Swimming Instructor.
Position Summary:
The Weekend Swimming Instructor conducts individual lessons in a positive, engaging, and safe environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels. This role focuses on teaching private lessons ensuring participants progress effectively while enjoying the experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Hiring for a trained American Red Cross swimming instructor or swim instructor with an equivalent certification to offers children and adults private swim lessons. Lessons range in length from 30 min to 1 hour. Lessons may be private or semi-private and include up to 2 students. We are looking for an on-call instructor. Must be proficient in teaching all strokes. Student levels range from beginner to intermediate. Must have a current instructor certification and CPR certification. Additional lifeguard certification is preferred but not required.
Licenses and Certificates:
CPR Certification. Experience teaching swimming lessons is highly preferred. A Lifeguard Certification and/or WSI Training (Water Safety Instructor certification) is highly preferred. Pay range : $23 per hour. Non-exempt. By appointment only.
Shift Availability:
Sunday Shift ( Additional hours vary depending on time and duration of appointments).
