Duties Monitor pool activity continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents or injuries Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning, chemical checks, and equipment inspections to ensure optimal water quality and safety standards Assist guests with pool-related inquiries, providing excellent guest services and ensuring a welcoming environment Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance duties such as skimming debris, vacuuming the pool floor, and checking filtration systems Maintain accurate incident reports and log safety checks throughout your shift Support overall pool area cleanliness by managing pool deck hygiene and ensuring safety signage is visible and up-to-date Requirements Proven lifeguard experience or relevant training with current certification in CPR and First Aid Ability to swim confidently in deep water and perform rescue techniques under pressure Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning protocols Physical stamina for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, walking, and quick response movements during emergencies Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude Basic understanding of safety regulations related to aquatic environments Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding role that combines safety expertise with guest engagement!
