As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring pool areas, enforcing safety rules for our girls' division. Your energetic presence will help create memorable summer experiences while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in water safety, customer service, and pool maintenance. Looking for a female lifeguard for the following weeks: 6/29/2026 - 7/17/2026 from 12-4 with optional swimming lessons from 4-5 pm. Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor the pool area to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies Enforce safety rules and regulations to ensure a secure environment for all guests Administer first aid and CPR in case of injuries or emergencies, following established protocols Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and checking chemical levels to maintain water quality Assist with pool cleaning duties including scrubbing decks and ensuring surrounding areas are tidy and hazard-free Provide friendly guest services by answering questions, assisting campers, and creating a positive atmosphere Support pool operations by performing basic maintenance checks and reporting any equipment issues promptly Qualifications Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR and first aid training from an accredited organization Prior lifeguard experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues when necessary Knowledge of pool maintenance practices including chemical handling and cleaning procedures Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong communication skills with a friendly, proactive attitude towards guest service Willingness to learn safety protocols and contribute positively to team efforts Embark on an energetic summer adventure by joining us as a Lifeguard!
