Seasonal Lifeguard

Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Lifeguards. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests at the pool. This is a rewarding position that requires strong swimming skills, knowledge of lifeguarding techniques, and the ability to provide excellent guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor the pool area and enforce safety rules to prevent accidents
• Respond quickly and effectively to any emergency situations
• Perform water rescues and administer CPR or first aid when necessary
• Conduct regular pool inspections to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance
• Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and equipment checks
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries or concerns
• Assist with pool set-up and clean-up tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Must be a certified Lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues
• Knowledge of lifeguarding techniques, including proper use of rescue equipment
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a professional manner
• Physical stamina to perform duties such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing
• Previous experience in guest services or a related field is preferred

Requirements:

Must be at least fifteen (15) years old and currently possess or close to completion of the Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding/CPR/First Aid/AED. Must have reliable transportation
