Pool Lifeguard (Seasonal)

Hilltop Gardens Condominium is seeking reliable and certified Lifeguards for the 2026 pool season. Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of residents and guests while maintaining a clean, orderly, and enjoyable pool environment. The pool operates daily from May 23, 2026 through September 7, 2026 , with hours from 11:00 AM•7:00 PM . Available Shifts We offer flexible scheduling with multiple shift options:

Full Shift:

11:00 AM•7:00

PM Morning Shift:

11:00 AM•3:00

PM Afternoon Shift:

3:00 PM•7:00 PM Both primary (scheduled) and backup/on-call positions are available. Key Responsibilities Monitor pool activity to ensure safety of all swimmers Enforce pool rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including water rescues and first aid Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area Perform routine pool area inspections for safety and cleanliness Complete incident reports and communicate issues to management Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests Qualifications Current Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross or equivalent) CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required) Strong swimming and rescue skills Ability to remain alert, attentive, and professional at all times Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled shifts Prior lifeguarding experience preferred but not required Scheduling & Expectations Daily staffing includes one primary lifeguard and one backup/on-call lifeguard Shift changes should be provided at least 2 weeks in advance Strong coverage is required for weekends and holidays, including: Memorial Day (paid at 1.5x rate) July 4th (paid at 1.5x rate) Labor Day (paid at 1.5x rate) Work Environment Outdoor pool setting Exposure to sun, heat, and weather conditions Active role requiring standing, scanning, and quick response Why Join Us?
