In this energetic role, you will monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, and provide immediate assistance in emergency situations. Your dedication ensures a fun, safe environment where guests can relax, swim, and create lasting memories. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop vital skills in safety, guest service, and pool maintenance while working in a lively, community-focused setting. Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor pool areas to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning, chemical checks, and water quality assessments Assist guests with pool-related inquiries and ensure a positive guest experience through friendly service Perform routine pool cleaning duties such as skimming debris, scrubbing tiles, and maintaining surrounding areas Support with general pool maintenance tasks like equipment inspection and minor repairs Maintain accurate incident reports and log daily activities to ensure safety compliance Requirements Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and First Aid Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues when necessary Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and cleaning techniques Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and active monitoring duties Strong guest service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Prior experience with pool cleaning or maintenance is a plus but not required Must be at least 16 years old or older depending on local regulations Embark on a rewarding journey where your vigilance makes a difference!
