Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Head Lifeguard to lead our aquatic safety team and ensure a secure, enjoyable environment for all guests. As the Head Lifeguard, you will oversee daily pool operations, supervise lifeguard staff, and uphold the highest standards of water safety. Your energetic leadership will inspire confidence among guests and team members alike, fostering a fun yet safe atmosphere where everyone can relax and enjoy their time. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in water safety, guest service, and facility maintenance. Duties Lead and coordinate the pool safety team to ensure vigilant supervision of all swimming areas at all times Oversee routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks to maintain optimal water quality and safety standards Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities, including decks, ladders, and surrounding areas, to identify hazards and ensure cleanliness Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, assisting with pool rules, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid or CPR techniques, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary Train and mentor lifeguards on rescue procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations Maintain accurate records of safety drills, incident reports, maintenance logs, and staff schedules Qualifications Proven experience as a lifeguard with current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid Prior experience in pool maintenance and cleaning procedures Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues efficiently under pressure Leadership experience in supervising or managing lifeguard teams is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting related to pool equipment or supplies as needed Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Knowledge of pool chemical management and safety regulations applicable to aquatic facilities Join us as our Head Lifguard and be at the forefront of creating a safe, vibrant aquatic environment!
