In this energetic role, you'll be the vigilant guardian ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all pool visitors during the lively midday hours. Responsibilities Monitor the pool area continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR when necessary Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and checking chemical levels to ensure optimal water quality Assist guests with pool access, provide excellent guest services, and answer questions about pool facilities Perform regular inspections of safety equipment and pool surroundings to identify hazards or maintenance needs Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and safety checks Support pool cleaning efforts by maintaining cleanliness of deck areas and surrounding facilities Requirements Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and First Aid Ability to swim confidently and demonstrate strong swimming skills Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical testing and cleaning protocols Physical stamina for heavy lifting, bending, and prolonged standing or walking during shifts Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Prior experience in pool cleaning or maintenance is a plus but not required Must be reliable, attentive to detail, and able to work independently during scheduled hours Embark on a rewarding role that combines safety leadership with guest engagement!
