Part-Time We are looking for candidates for all shifts at our pool!

Pool hours are:

Monday-Thursday, 5:45am-9:00pm, Friday, 5:45am-8:00pm, Saturday & Sunday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Shifts lengths range from 2-8 hours per shift. We are seeking a responsible and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a lifeguard at our tennis and fitness club in Silver Spring, Maryland. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in lifeguarding and be able to ensure the safety of our members and guests.

Responsibilities:

Maintain constant surveillance of the pool area to ensure the safety of swimmers. Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Assist swimmers who require help. Administer first aid and CPR in case of emergency. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pool area. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking pool chemicals, cleaning filters, and vacuuming the pool. Report any accidents, hazards, or issues to the management.

Qualifications:

Possess a current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization. Lifeguarding, CPR/AED & First Aid certifications are required. Water Safety Training is preferred. Prior experience in lifeguarding is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. This is a part-time position that may require working evenings and weekends. The selected candidate will receive competitive compensation based on their experience and qualifications.
