Deck Ambassador

As we expand across the western suburbs, we're looking for someone who can become the face of our swim school experience for families and swimmers! For many families, the Deck Ambassador is the first face they see and the person who sets the tone for their entire experience.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be part hospitality host, part operations coordinator, part community builder. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and families and thrives in a positive, fast-moving environment.

Your Typical Responsibilities:

Setting up and breaking down the pool deck area before and after each shift. Welcoming students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area. Answering customers' questions about their account, their child's progress, or about the program. Assist swim instructors and managers when needed during swim lessons. Ensure that progress of swimmers is recorded accurately Capture fun moments from the deck and help celebrate swimmer progress through social media content & through our mascot, Shark Man. Help reinforce our core safety first message by observing lessons and alerting instructors to any critical situations. Qualifications Organized Calm under pressure Confident communicator Good with technology/apps Able to multitask in a busy environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Organized • 1+ years of customer service experience. Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) may be obtained during training.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
