Summer Seasonal Lifeguards (Outdoor Pools) Metropolitan YMCAs of Mississippi

• Clinton Branch Looking for a meaningful summer job where you can stay active, work outdoors, and make a real difference?

Join our aquatics team as a Summer Lifeguard. Lifeguards help create a safe, welcoming environment for kids, families, and adults by monitoring swimmers, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies. This is a hands-on role focused on safety, teamwork, and customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Actively monitoring pool areas
• Enforcing safety policies
• Responding to emergencies
• Assisting with pool openings/closings and basic facility upkeep
• Providing friendly service to members and guests

Requirements:

• Minimum age 15
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Ability to work outdoors in summer heat
• Weekend availability required Flexible scheduling.
