Happy Swimmers is now hiring Certified Lifeguards with experience for work in Raleigh, North Carolina! Our private event lifeguard position has high pay! You choose your hours. Mostly Saturday or Sunday backyard swim parties, some weekdays. Accept only what clients work for you. Work at amazing places throughout your area! Pay starts at $30/hr minimum plus generous tips. Our clients reward our staff well if you're on your A-game! Responsibilities Monitor pool activity continuously to ensure guest safety during private events. Enforce all pool rules and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents. Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, skimming debris, and maintaining water clarity. Assist guests with pool-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the event. Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate first aid or CPR procedures when needed. Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness and safety standards. Support event staff with setup, breakdown, and logistical needs related to pool area management. Qualifications Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in CPR and First Aid. Ability to swim confidently and perform rescue techniques effectively. Knowledge of pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspection. Strong guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor. Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity required for pool cleaning and maintenance tasks. Prior experience in managing private events or hospitality environments is a plus. Must be attentive to detail, proactive in safety measures, and able to respond quickly in emergency situations.
