Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team as a Pool Monitor and be the essential guardian of safety, cleanliness, and guest experience at our aquatic facility. In this lively role, you will ensure that all pool operations run smoothly while providing a welcoming environment for guests to enjoy. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a fun, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop valuable skills in pool maintenance, guest services, and emergency response. Responsibilities Monitor pool activity continuously to ensure guest safety and enforce facility rules Perform regular pool maintenance tasks including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and maintaining water quality Respond promptly to guest inquiries, provide excellent customer service, and assist with pool area needs Conduct safety checks and enforce swimming guidelines to prevent accidents or unsafe behavior Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations with confidence and professionalism Assist with pool cleaning duties such as vacuuming, scrubbing tiles, and maintaining surrounding areas Maintain accurate logs of daily inspections, safety incidents, and maintenance activities Experience Prior experience in lifeguarding or pool supervision is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and equipment operation is a plus Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform water rescues if necessary Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certifications upon hire is acceptable Ability to lift heavy equipment or supplies as needed for cleaning or maintenance tasks Excellent guest service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Embark on a rewarding journey where your vigilance keeps others safe while you help craft memorable moments at the pool. $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
