Responsibilities Monitor swimming areas to ensure the safety of all guests. Enforce facility rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing rescues and administering first aid or CPR as needed. Maintain a clean and safe pool environment by inspecting equipment and reporting hazards. Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and answering questions. Attend all required training sessions and maintain current lifeguard certifications. Qualifications Current lifeguard certification (e.g., American Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent). CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required. Strong swimming skills and physical fitness. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Previous lifeguard experience preferred but not required.
