Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all guests in and around the pool area
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
• Monitor swimmers and provide assistance or intervention when necessary
• Perform water rescues and administer first aid as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any hazards or maintenance issues
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including regular cleaning and sanitization
• Assist with pool maintenance tasks, such as checking chemical levels and adjusting as needed

Skills:

• Current CPR, lifeguard, and first aid certifications
• Strong swimming skills and ability to perform water rescues
• Excellent guest service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with all guests
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary
• Knowledge of pool cleaning and maintenance procedures is a plus
